Low Broad Limestone Wall Fountain with Scrolled Wings

Wider than it is tall, this reclaimed limestone wall fountain sits low against a wall and spreads rather than rises. A shell and foliate cartouche is carved into the arched crest and flanked by scrolled wings that step down to a pair of large spiral volutes at each end. A small iron spout sits directly below the cartouche. The stone has weathered to a warm pink buff throughout, and the wide canted apron basin is built from big blocks carrying the same patina. Suited to low garden walls, pool surrounds and terrace elevations.
