Three Spout Limestone Wall Fountain

Three spouts rather than one give this reclaimed limestone wall fountain the character of a village washing place. The broad backplate is cut with an ogee profile along its top edge, rising to a flat centre between two concave scrolled shoulders, and three carved circular bosses spaced evenly across it each carry a heavy iron hook spout, one still trailing rust down the stone. A long flat coped trough runs the whole width above a plain ashlar base. Grey and cream limestone blotched with lichen. Suited to long courtyard walls and estate garden projects.
