Ogee Arch Limestone Wall Fountain

The plainest piece in the collection and the most sculptural for it. The backplate of this reclaimed limestone wall fountain is a single slab cut to an ogee arch with stepped shoulders, its profile repeated once as a shallow incised line and left otherwise entirely undecorated. A short iron spout at the centre has run a narrow rust stain down the face. The trough is enormous, cut from one block, its sides scoured into vertical striations and raised clear of the ground on small feet. Suited to modern courtyards, minimal garden walls and contemporary architectural projects.
