Cusped Panel Limestone Wall Fountain

A deep projecting cornice sits over the near square backplate of this reclaimed limestone wall fountain, and the recessed centre panel is finished at each corner with a cusped scrolled bracket, a quiet detail that gives an otherwise plain field its whole character. A carved foliate rosette holds the spout, which has drawn a fine rust line down the stone below it. The basin is built up in block coursing with a moulded coping and a plain ashlar apron. The limestone carries a soft grey green lichen tone. Suited to courtyards, walled gardens and terraces.
