Rosette Bronze Spout Limestone Wall Fountain

Photographed close, this reclaimed limestone wall fountain is shown at the point where the water leaves the stone. A cast bronze escutcheon worked as a deep rosette is fixed to the backplate and a curved gooseneck nozzle projects from its centre, dark against pale limestone. The stone around it is heavily eroded and open pitted, with rust runnels tracking down from the fixings, and a carved scrolled crest returns above under a moulded cornice. Berried foliage grows close on both sides. Suited to garden walls, courtyards and Mediterranean style landscapes.
