Incised Border Limestone Wall Fountain on a Pedestal

The border is what makes this reclaimed limestone wall fountain unusual. Its outer edge is cut into a scalloped wave, and the flat face inside is chiselled with a repeating rhythm of bracket and hatch marks, a graphic incised pattern quite unlike the moulded frames on the rest of the collection. A carved rosette boss holds a short dark bronze spout at the centre of the plain recessed field. A shallow moulded basin projects below, carried on a tall rough limestone pier. Suited to narrow courtyards, garden walls and contemporary architectural settings.
