Foliate Crest Limestone Wall Fountain with an Arched Niche

A carved crest of open scrollwork rides above the cornice of this reclaimed limestone wall fountain, and a deep acanthus keystone drops from it into the head of an arched niche. Two carved bracket corbels are set into the side returns at shoulder height. The niche is lined with limestone blocks gone warm ochre and rust where water and lichen have worked at them, and a carved rosette boss holds a small bronze spout at the centre. The apron basin is canted and flat coped. Suited to courtyards, garden walls and hospitality projects.
